About Me

Why I am Pursuing Medicine

I believe strongly in helping other people however you can. And while there are plenty of professions full of incredible people that help people every day, I feel medicine is the best fit for me. Becoming an osteopathic physician will combine my passions for biology, problem-solving, and person-to-person interaction.

Improving Healthcare

The corporatization of medicine has given us advancements in efficiency, communication, technology, and access to health data. However, physician burnout rates continue to increase, with younger physicians burning out quicker than ever before*. Patient outcomes must always come first in medicine, but if we're serious about improving our healthcare systems, we need to take a harder look at the lifestyle and workload placed on providers.

Digital Medicine

I'm passionate about the future of medicine and how information technology will shape it. As a student of Rocky Vista University's Digital Health Track, I am gaining the knowledge and experience to be a leader in digital health and medicine in the coming years.

Mentorship

I wouldn't be where I am without the help of wise and patient mentors. As a medical student, I feel a responsibility to mentor and help the next generation of medical students with the limited knowledge and experience I have.
